Smart and automatic waiting list

Here are the steps to set up the automatic waiting list:

  1. Click on Account Settings.
  2. Click on Employees & Services.
  3. Make sure you have selected the employee that you want to configure the waiting list for.
  4. Click on Waiting List.
  5. To allow your clients to add themselves to your waiting list, select the "Yes" option. 
  6. To enable automatic email invitations when there are last minute cancellations, check off the "Handle last minute cancellations". You can specify your preferences for the email invitations.

    In the example below, I request that whenever a customer cancels within 2 days of their appointment, the system sends an email invitation to the first two people on my waiting list. If no one books after an hour, the system will invite the following two people on my waiting list.
  7. To enable automatic email invitations in case of other types of cancellation, select "Manage other cancellations". You can specify your preferences for the email invitations.

    In the example below, I request that whenever a client cancels within 7 days of their appointment, the system must wait 2 hours before sending an email invitation to the 5 first people on my waiting list. If no one books within three hours of sending the email, the system will send an email to the following person on my waiting list.
